It is a recipe which is handed over to me by my grandmother . She used to prepare this dish to me as a curry for my lunch. This dish is very special to me since it contains all the memories and love of my grandmother. This is a traditional dish and is also called as naadan theeyal. The ingredients are very less in number and is easly available. It has the perfect blend of all the four flavours such as sweetness, saltness, spiceness and sourness.
Ingredients
* Five nos. of pearl onion or small onion
* Salt as you need
* Four nos. of Red chilli
* A small ball of tamarind
* Two Tablespoon full of oil.
* Water optional
Can we start now...........
* First heat oil in a pan.
* Fry the red chilli in the oil till it is crispy and brown.
* In the same oil, saute the small onion as a whole and fry it until it turns light brown.
* Then mash all the ingrendients in a bowl with the hot oil.
* Add a little water if needed.
* Mix it with your hand if needed.
* The tasty uppum pulim thirumitythu is now ready to serve.
