Carrot Burfi

Carrot Burfi is one of the tastiest and healthiest burfis I had ever had. The preparation of this dish is very simple. Carrot Burfi contains all the goodness of carrot and milk.




Ingredients


* 2 cups of grated carrot

*  2 cups of milk

*  2 tablespoon of ghee.

*  1 cup of sugar

*  1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder

*  raisins for garnishing

Directions

*  Add ghee into a pan and heat it.

*  Add carrot into the ghee and saute for about 2 minutes.

*  Add milk into the carrot and bring it to boil.

*  At this stage, add sugar and cardamom powder.

*  Stir continuously until the mixture is thick.

*  Take this mixture out from plate and pour it into a greased plate.

*  Allow it to cool completeley for about one hour or two.

* Cut it into desired shape and serve.
